  • Uphold and enhance the design integrity and excellence of the brand during which time Harper's BAZAAR was named Adweek's 2015 Hottest Fashion Magazine and Adweek's 2014 Hottest Magazine
  • Lead creative services team in producing first-class marketing materials and custom content solutions for the publishing and e-commerce divisions
  • Oversee the concept and development of design and photography 
  • Support new business opportunities and devise new revenue generating programs/initiatives in collaboration with the Associate Publisher and Integrative Marketing team
  • Establish workflow and creative standards for internal staff, as well as outside contractors and vendors
  • Hire, train, mentor, and manage staff of full-time and freelance designers

  • Produced marketing materials and custom content solutions for the publishing division during which time BAZAAR was named Adweek's 2013 Hottest Fashion Magazine
  • Developed creative concepts for custom photo shoots and advertorials

Provided full-service design solutions for clients including TBWA\Chiat\Day, TED, RAI International, Charlie Palmer Restaurants, The New York Society Library, The Mascott Corporation, Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery, The Delve Group, Encore Magazine.

  • Conceptualized and executed the design of corporate communication campaigns including identity systems, websites, promotional materials, event collateral, books, and packaging
  • Established design direction and project parameters in collaboration with each client
  • Maintained routine project updates with clients  
  • Generated cost and time estimates per project; renegotiated estimates when project parameters expanded
  • Managed off-site vendors, illustrators, photographers and web programmers

Bon Appétit

Freelance Senior Designer / March 2011–August 2011

  • Redesigned event collateral for Vegas Uncork'd, an annual culinary and wine event in Las Vegas featuring celebrated chefs and multiple events over a four day weekend. Resort partners included the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and The Venetian.
  • Produced in-magazine advertorial and promotional pages
  • Managed press files and color correction
  • Designed presentation materials to support Bon Appétit's ad sales initiatives

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia

Freelance Senior Designer / September 2009–2010

  • Created promotional and sales materials such as advertorials and event collateral for the flagship magazine, Martha Stewart Living, as well as Martha Stewart Weddings
  • Worked with the Creative Services Director, Art Director, Copy, Marketing and Events Director to ensure communications and design upheld the integrity of the Martha Stewart brand

Condé Nast Portfolio

  • Generated advertorials, sponsorship logos, sales brochures, sell sheets, invitations and event signage for the Marketing and Creative Services department
  • Coordinated with the Creative Services Director, Art Director, and Copy Director on design concepts and direction
